About Us

I'm Shawna. I am a mom of two adult boys and one beautiful daughter-in-love. with the most handsome newborn grandson! I'm also fur-mom to four barking furbabies. Tank (the chiweenie), Butternut (the big brother Golden), Kam (the middle mischief maker Golden), Trigger (Lord Help Us -- the ADHD German Shepherd). We also have two terroristic indoor cats - -Dobbi and Jedi, five outdoor kitties (Turbo, Stripes, Orange, Li'l Dude, and Li'l Bit), and three horses (Peanut, Whisper and Bear).

I am a school teacher for an intermediate school. I teach 7th and 8th grade. I have always crafted, but 4 years ago, I set out on a journey to see how these amazing tumblers were being made. After researching for about three months, I told my handsome hubby (he's over there >> and you'll read about him in a few minutes) that I was ready to start my journey into this cxrazy epoxy tumbler world. So, I bought my first single turner, epoxy, and glitter. That was my first cup. A glitter cup. And -- whala! -- I created a monster. It just took off from there. Now I can create just about anything I set my mind to. Soon I will venture into designing my own designs and not "copying" what other people make. (It's not copying, but doing what the normal person does -- two glitters, regular paint cups, acrylic painting -- ya know, what's out there in the normal tumbler world that people see all the time.) Last year I ventured into t-shirts more and this year I've expanded and am now doing woodworking/engraving/creating with my new laser.

So, when I'm not teaching or taking care of my furbabies, I'm creating. Something. Always something.

This hunk. This is my handsome hubby, Ray. I have been married to him for 26 years. We have been together for almost 32 years. He is the master mind behind my turners. After we bought that first turner, I started getting busy. I started getting requests for tumblers and before I knew it, I had six turners running almost constantly. It's been like that ever since.

Ray is a master mechanic. If it can be built, he'll build it. He is my jack of all trades. If I ask him to build it or make it -- he will and he rocks it.

He is working on getting his own "business" up and running.

Ya'll -- this man -- he's so awesome when it comes to mechanics and motors. He's done things the average mechanic can't imagine doing. He can do wiring, electrical, he can match up ford to chevy, without a hitch.
